NYC Car Club

Event Terms &
Waiver

Effective Date: June 17, 2026Organization: NYC Car Club

Thank you for joining NYC Car Club. We are here for the cars, the people, and the community around them. To keep events safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone, all attendees, drivers, passengers, volunteers, photographers, vendors, sponsors, and guests agree to the following Event Terms and Conditions, Photo Release, and Liability Waiver.

By registering for, attending, participating in, volunteering at, displaying a vehicle at, photographing, filming, sponsoring, vending, or otherwise taking part in an NYC Car Club event, you agree to these terms.

01

Event Participation

NYC Car Club events may include cars and coffee gatherings, curated parking displays, private events, public events, rallies, drives, educational programs, youth programs, sponsor activations, photography sessions, venue collaborations, and other automotive community activities.

Participation is voluntary. You are responsible for your own conduct, your guests, your vehicle, and any personal property you bring to an event.

NYC Car Club may refuse entry, remove any person, deny future participation, or cancel a registration at any time if we believe someone is acting unsafely, disrespectfully, illegally, or against the spirit of the event.

02

Safety and Conduct

All participants agree to act safely and respectfully.

You agree that you will not:

  • Race, speed, drift, do burnouts, or perform stunts
  • Rev engines excessively
  • Play loud music in a way that disrupts the event or neighborhood
  • Drive aggressively near the event
  • Block traffic, sidewalks, bike lanes, crosswalks, fire lanes, hydrants, building entrances, or emergency access
  • Touch, enter, sit in, lean on, or photograph inside another person's vehicle without permission
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone
  • Bring weapons, illegal substances, or dangerous items
  • Ignore instructions from NYC Car Club staff, volunteers, venue staff, security, police, traffic agents, or event partners

Be cool. Respect the cars, the people, the venue, and the neighborhood.

03

Vehicles, Licensing, and Insurance

  • You are legally allowed to operate the vehicle
  • You hold a valid driver's license
  • The vehicle is properly registered, inspected, and insured as required by law
  • The vehicle is safe to operate
  • You will follow all traffic laws, parking rules, venue rules, and event instructions

NYC Car Club does not inspect vehicles and is not responsible for determining whether a vehicle is safe, legal, insured, or roadworthy.

You are solely responsible for any ticket, citation, tow, impound, damage, injury, claim, or loss connected to your vehicle or driving.

04

Parking and Display Areas

Parking may be limited, curated, assigned, or first come first served, depending on the event. Registering for an event does not guarantee parking unless NYC Car Club confirms that parking is included.

NYC Car Club, venues, sponsors, municipalities, parking operators, and event partners are not responsible for parking tickets, towing, vehicle damage, theft, vandalism, weather damage, or any loss involving your vehicle or property.

You park and display your vehicle at your own risk.

  • Noise
  • Photography, filming, and media activity
  • Theft, vandalism, or property damage
  • Conduct of other participants, spectators, drivers, vendors, venues, or third parties

By attending or participating, you understand and voluntarily accept these risks.

06

Release of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release NYC Car Club, its directors, officers, members, volunteers, staff, agents, representatives, sponsors, vendors, venues, property owners, event partners, photographers, contractors, and affiliates from claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, injuries, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to your attendance, participation, vehicle, guests, property, conduct, or presence at an NYC Car Club event.

This release applies to claims involving personal injury, property damage, vehicle damage, theft, loss, emotional distress, media use, or other event-related matters, except where such release is not permitted by law.

Nothing in this document is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

07

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NYC Car Club, its directors, officers, members, volunteers, staff, agents, representatives, sponsors, vendors, venues, property owners, event partners, photographers, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, liability, damage, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or related to:

NYC Car Club will not publish sensitive vehicle information such as VINs, insurance documents, registration documents, or private ownership records.

11

No Drones Policy

Unauthorized drones are not allowed at NYC Car Club events.

No attendee, participant, spectator, photographer, videographer, vendor, sponsor, or third party may launch, operate, land, or fly a drone at or near an NYC Car Club event without prior written approval from NYC Car Club.

Drone use may only be permitted when operated by an approved vendor or operator who has provided NYC Car Club with appropriate insurance, required permits or authorizations, and proof of compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, venue, and event rules.

NYC Car Club may require any unauthorized drone operator to stop flying immediately and leave the event area. NYC Car Club is not responsible for any injury, damage, privacy issue, citation, fine, enforcement action, or other claim caused by unauthorized drone activity.

12

Minors

Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian unless NYC Car Club has approved a specific youth program process.

A parent or legal guardian must sign or approve participation, media release, and waiver terms for any minor who participates in an NYC Car Club event or program.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors at all times unless a specific program states otherwise in writing.

13

Youth Programs

For youth-focused automotive, education, restoration, design, volunteer, or community programs, NYC Car Club may require additional forms, including parent or guardian consent, emergency contact information, medical information, pickup authorization, code of conduct, and program-specific waivers.

Youth participants may not operate vehicles, tools, lifts, equipment, or machinery unless expressly permitted by the program rules, supervised by authorized personnel, and allowed by law.

14

Pets

If pets are allowed at an event, they must be leashed, controlled, and supervised at all times. You are responsible for your pet's behavior, cleanup, and any injury or damage caused by your pet.

NYC Car Club may ask that a pet be removed from an event if the pet is disruptive, unsafe, uncontrolled, or not permitted by the venue.

Service animals are welcome where required by law.

15

Alcohol, Drugs, and Impaired Driving

Do not drive impaired. Participants may not operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, drugs, medication, or any substance that could affect safe driving.

NYC Car Club may remove or refuse participation to anyone who appears impaired or unsafe.

16

Vendors, Sponsors, Venues, and Third Parties

Some events may include sponsors, vendors, venues, photographers, ticketing platforms, registration platforms, payment processors, or other third parties.

Those third parties may have their own rules, waivers, privacy policies, refund policies, and terms. NYC Car Club is not responsible for third-party acts, omissions, products, services, websites, payments, platforms, or policies.

17

Event Changes, Weather, and Cancellation

NYC Car Club may change, postpone, relocate, limit, or cancel an event at any time due to weather, safety, permitting, venue requirements, community concerns, low registration, operational needs, or other circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, registrations, donations, tickets, vendor fees, and sponsorships may be non-refundable.

18

Some venues, streets, sidewalks, parking areas, historic buildings, or public spaces may have limitations outside NYC Car Club's control.

20

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Any dispute arising from or related to an NYC Car Club event shall be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in New York, unless otherwise required by law.
