NYC Car Club is a New York-based nonprofit automotive community focused on cars, people, events, education, youth programs, restoration, design, and community-building.

NYC Car Club may offer public events, private events, cars and coffee gatherings, curated vehicle displays, youth programs, volunteer opportunities, educational programming, fundraising campaigns, merchandise, sponsorships, and other community activities.

Nothing on this website creates ownership rights, voting rights, governance rights, or membership rights unless those rights are expressly granted under NYC Car Club's certificate of incorporation, bylaws, written membership rules, or applicable law.

NYC Car Club operates for nonprofit purposes. Any funds, donations, sponsorships, ticket revenue, merchandise revenue, grants, or other support received by NYC Car Club must be used to support NYC Car Club's mission, programs, operations, events, community work, and lawful nonprofit purposes.

No part of NYC Car Club's net earnings may be distributed as dividends or profits to any private individual, member, director, officer, volunteer, sponsor, or participant, except for reasonable compensation for services actually provided, reimbursement of approved expenses, or other payments permitted by law.

Participation in NYC Car Club does not give any person an ownership interest in NYC Car Club or its assets.

These Terms and Conditions work together with NYC Car Club's other policies, including:

• NYC Car Club Event Terms and Conditions, Photo Release, and Liability Waiver
• Event-specific rules, registration terms, and refund policies
• Youth program forms and parent or guardian consent forms
• Volunteer rules or sponsor/vendor agreements, if applicable

If there is a conflict between these Terms and an event-specific written agreement, the event-specific agreement will control for that event, unless prohibited by law.

You may use this website for lawful, personal, informational, event registration, donation, volunteer, membership, sponsorship, or community purposes.

You agree not to use this website in a way that:

Event registration through the website does not guarantee admission, parking, display space, placement, or participation unless NYC Car Club confirms those details in writing.

All event attendees, drivers, passengers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, photographers, and guests must follow NYC Car Club's Event Terms and Conditions, Photo Release, and Liability Waiver.

NYC Car Club may refuse entry, remove a person, cancel a registration, deny future participation, or change event access if we believe it is necessary for safety, legal compliance, venue requirements, community concerns, or the integrity of the event.

NYC Car Club events are community events, not racing events.

Unless expressly stated in writing, NYC Car Club does not organize or permit racing, speed contests, burnouts, drifting, stunts, reckless driving, excessive revving, street takeovers, or unlawful driving activity.

Drivers are responsible for their own vehicles, licensing, registration, insurance, conduct, tickets, citations, towing, damages, and compliance with all traffic and parking laws.

NYC Car Club events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, recorded, or otherwise documented.

By attending, registering for, participating in, volunteering at, displaying a vehicle at, sponsoring, vending, photographing, filming, or otherwise taking part in an NYC Car Club event, you agree to the NYC Car Club Event Terms and Conditions, Photo Release, and Liability Waiver.

NYC Car Club may use event photos, videos, recordings, names, likenesses, voices, vehicles, and participation details for club-related purposes, including social media, websites, newsletters, event recaps, sponsor materials, fundraising, press, advertising, and future event promotion.

If you do not want to be featured in NYC Car Club-controlled media, contact [email protected] or speak with event staff. NYC Car Club will make reasonable efforts to honor requests for future use of media controlled by NYC Car Club.

NYC Car Club cannot control photos, videos, livestreams, posts, or other media created by attendees, spectators, venues, sponsors, press, neighbors, or other third parties.

If you submit vehicle information through the website or an event registration form, NYC Car Club may use that information for event planning, parking, curation, safety, communications, and community programming.

NYC Car Club will not publish sensitive vehicle information such as VINs, insurance documents, registration documents, or private ownership records.

Unauthorized drones are not allowed at NYC Car Club events.

No attendee, participant, spectator, photographer, videographer, vendor, sponsor, or third party may launch, operate, land, or fly a drone at or near an NYC Car Club event without prior written approval from NYC Car Club.

Drone use may only be permitted when operated by an approved vendor or operator who has provided NYC Car Club with appropriate insurance, required permits or authorizations, and proof of compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, venue, and event rules.

NYC Car Club may require any unauthorized drone operator to stop flying immediately and leave the event area. NYC Car Club is not responsible for any injury, damage, privacy issue, citation, fine, enforcement action, or other claim caused by unauthorized drone activity.

Any approved drone operation must be conducted safely, respectfully, and in a way that does not interfere with vehicles, pedestrians, emergency access, neighboring properties, venue operations, or the enjoyment of the event.

NYC Car Club may offer youth-focused automotive, education, restoration, design, volunteer, or community programs.

Anyone under 18 must attend or participate with a parent or legal guardian unless NYC Car Club has approved a specific youth program process in writing.

A parent or legal guardian must approve participation, media release, waiver terms, emergency contact forms, and any youth program documents required by NYC Car Club.

Youth participants may not operate vehicles, tools, lifts, equipment, or machinery unless expressly permitted by the program rules, supervised by authorized personnel, and allowed by law.

NYC Car Club collects and uses personal information according to the NYC Car Club Privacy Policy.

By using the website, submitting forms, registering for events, making donations, signing up for communications, or otherwise interacting with NYC Car Club, you agree that NYC Car Club may collect, use, store, and share information as described in the Privacy Policy.

NYC Car Club does not sell member information.

If you provide your email address or phone number, NYC Car Club may contact you about events, registrations, donations, volunteer opportunities, club updates, safety notices, and related communications.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume the risks associated with attendance and participation, including risks involving vehicles, pedestrians, crowds, weather, road conditions, parking, property damage, personal injury, media activity, and the conduct of third parties.

Nothing in these Terms or any waiver is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NYC Car Club, its directors, officers, members, volunteers, staff, agents, representatives, sponsors, vendors, venues, property owners, event partners, photographers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, liability, damage, loss, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the website
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your event attendance or participation
• Your vehicle, guests, passengers, or property
• Your submitted content
• Your violation of any law, rule, regulation, venue policy, or third-party right
• Your misconduct, negligence, or intentional act

NYC Car Club will not be responsible for delay, cancellation, failure, or interruption caused by events outside its reasonable control, including weather, emergencies, road closures, government action, permitting issues, venue restrictions, power outages, labor disputes, transportation issues, public safety concerns, illness, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or other unexpected events.

NYC Car Club wants its website and events to be welcoming and accessible.

NYC Car Club will make reasonable efforts to help, but some venues, streets, sidewalks, parking areas, historic buildings, third-party platforms, or public spaces may have limitations outside our control.

NYC Car Club's failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that part later.
