CARS & COFFEE NYC

Monthly Cars & Coffee Events Across NYC

NYC Car Club hosts Cars & Coffee events in New York City and across the NY metro area, bringing together interesting cars and the people who love them.

We organize events at least monthly, and often more frequently, at cafés, restaurants, cultural spaces, neighborhood streets and unique venues throughout New York City and the surrounding region.

The majority of our Cars & Coffee events are free to attend, open to the public and open to all makes and models unless otherwise noted.

You do not need to own a Porsche. You do not need to own a collector car. You do not even need to own a car.

Come for the cars. Stay for the people.

A Different Kind of NYC Car Meet

A Different Kind of NYC Car Meet

New York has one of the most interesting car communities in the world. You just have to get everyone in the same place.

Our Cars & Coffee events bring together vintage cars, modern performance cars, daily drivers, project cars and the occasional thing nobody expected to see parked on a New York City street that morning.

One event might have an air-cooled Porsche next to a BMW E30, an Aston Martin, a classic Mustang and a beautifully worn 912. The next might bring out Japanese classics, Italian exotics, American muscle, British sports cars or something completely obscure.

That variety is the point.

Every car has a story, and everyone who is curious about cars is welcome.

NYC Car Club is Porsche-forward, but our regular Cars & Coffee events are intentionally multi-marque. Unless an event is specifically identified as Porsche-only or built around another theme, bring what you have.

Cars & Coffee, NYC Style

There is no parking lot in the suburbs pretending to be New York.

We like producing events that actually feel connected to the city around them.

That has meant early Sunday mornings outside neighborhood cafés, closing sections of streets for a few hours, taking over spaces in Brooklyn, bringing cars into the Meatpacking District and SoHo, and finding unexpected places where automotive culture, food, design, photography and New York come together.

Our events have included Cars & Coffee gatherings with Monte Café & Bakery, Le Lotus Bleu Café, Urbana Cafe and Gallery , events in and around Industry City, and collaborations with brands and businesses including Leica and Tudor Watches, Porsche Brooklyn, PCARMARKET, Full Service NY and Auto Amour.

Each event is a little different because each neighborhood and partner brings something different to it.

The common thread is simple: create experiences people remember.

The Cars Are Only Half the Story

Yes, there are cars. Sometimes very good cars... but NYC Car Club was built around the idea that automotive culture is ultimately about people.

At one of our Cars & Coffee events you might meet someone restoring their first car, a collector who has owned the same Porsche for thirty years, a photographer, designer, mechanic, engineer, artist, student or someone who simply walked past and wanted to know what was going on.

That mix is what makes these mornings work.

We want someone who arrives alone to leave knowing a few more people than when they got there. Cars give us a reason to meet. Community is why we keep doing it.

More Than Cars & Coffee

Cars & Coffee is one of the easiest ways to get involved with NYC Car Club, but it is only part of what we do.

Throughout the year we also organize drives, Porsche events, collector-car gatherings, cultural programs and larger shows, including Porschefest and our flagship Looks Fast, Standing Still event.

Some are free. Some require tickets. Some are curated around a particular marque, era or type of car.

Our regular Cars & Coffee events remain the most accessible place to start.

Free Cars & Coffee Events in NYC

Most NYC Car Club Cars & Coffee events are free and open to the public.

Some locations have a limited number of reserved display spaces, and occasionally we produce a themed event where participating cars need to meet a particular requirement. Porschefest, for example, is centered specifically around Porsche cars.

We make those restrictions clear when an event is announced.

Otherwise, our philosophy is simple: all makes. All models. All generations. Collector car or daily driver. Perfect paint or perfect patina. If you are interested in cars, you are already part of the conversation.

Where We Hold Cars & Coffee

NYC Car Club events take place throughout New York City and the greater Metropolitan New York area.

We are always looking for interesting locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, as well as Westchester, Long Island, northern New Jersey, the Hudson Valley and other destinations within driving distance of the city.

We particularly like locations that give people a reason to stay after the cars arrive: great coffee, good food, interesting architecture, public space, design, art, retail or a neighborhood worth exploring.

A great Cars & Coffee should be part of the place where it happens, not simply dropped into it.

PARTNER WITH US

Bring Cars & Coffee to Your Café, Restaurant, Brand or Space

Have a space? Let's fill it with interesting cars and people.

NYC Car Club works with cafés, restaurants, hotels, retailers, cultural institutions, property owners, automotive brands and other businesses to create Cars & Coffee events throughout the NYC metro area. You do not need to be an automotive company.

Some of the best partnerships happen because a restaurant wants to introduce itself to a new community, a developer has an interesting courtyard or private street, a café wants to build Sunday-morning traffic, or a brand has a space that would be more interesting with thirty exceptional cars parked outside.

We can help with the cars and the community.

Depending on the location and event, NYC Car Club can help curate participating vehicles, promote the event to our audience, manage registration, coordinate arrival and parking, develop event programming and create an experience around your business or space.

If you have an idea, tell us about it. If you simply have a great space and no idea what to do with it yet, tell us that too.
